After High School

Hello lovelies, as some of you may know i am 15 and starting high school this coming September. With that being such a big step in my life, it comes with something else which is thinking about what i am going to do after my last 3 years of grade school. If you know me you would know i like to plan ahead, that means while all the other kids my age have been living their lives and not worrying about college i have been thinking about and looking at colleges for the past 3 years since i have started junior high in grade 7. Now i know what some of you might be thinking " why have you been thinking about colleges since you were the age of 13?"  the answer to your question is i like to know what i am going to do with my life, I'm the kind of person that thinks a head and when the time comes i want to be dead set on what college i want to go to. Well it turns out i really like to be prepared on what i want to do after high school, because while i still have 3 years left of grade school,  i already know where i want to go to college and that is the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising also know as FIDM. FIDM has 4 different locations in California aka "the golden state" , and is the top fashion school in the U.S. As you can tell form this blog being about beauty and fashion, that they are my passion which is why i feel like FIDM is the perfect school for me. I really want to major in beauty industry merchandising & marketing, it is the perfect major for me. With this major i would learn how to 

• Create beauty products and packaging.
• Utilize state-of-the-industry software programs to create functional and artistic packaging and product placement.
• Market ideas effectively

and many more. I think a part of me has always wanted to do something in the beauty industry, ever since i was a little girl i have loved playing with makeup and dressing up, but these past 3 years it has really become a big part in my life where i will sit down at my makeup table at 12:00 in the night and do my makeup for fun, or i would sit at my desk on my computer looking through online websites and put outfits together. It is something that i love and can picture myself doing for a living, in reality this blog is the first step to my future in the beauty industry it only goes on from here and the next step is going to college at FIDM. Moving to L.A will be a big step if i do get in but i am ready for it, I have to make the world mine and going to this amazing school will help me do that. It can only go up from here.
